About the role
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer at the start of their career to join our engineering team in Karachi. You will work alongside senior engineers on real client products — modern web applications built with Next.js, React, and TypeScript — with the code review, mentorship, and ownership you need to grow quickly.
This role is for someone who has built things: university projects, side projects, freelance work, or an internship. We care more about how you think and how fast you learn than about years on a CV.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain features in Next.js, React, and TypeScript with guidance from senior engineers.
- Turn designs and written requirements into clean, accessible, responsive interfaces.
- Write readable code and treat code review as the main way you level up.
- Fix bugs, write tests, and help keep our projects tidy as they grow.
- Ask questions early, share progress often, and learn our tooling (Git, CI, cloud deploys).
What we're looking for
- 0–2 years of professional experience — recent graduates and interns are welcome to apply.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/CSS, with some exposure to TypeScript and React.
- Projects we can look at: a portfolio, a GitHub profile, or something you have shipped.
- Comfortable with Git and eager to learn our stack (Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Cloudflare).
- Clear written English, curiosity, and the ability to take feedback without ego.
